Kate works in film, television, theatre + voiceover.
She holds a BFA (Hons.) from Ryerson Theatre School in Toronto (2012), and an MA (Dist.) from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London (2014), both in classical acting.
She has performed at Shakespeare's Globe (Boudica), the National Theatre Studio, VAULT Festival, and Edinburgh Fringe. On screen she plays Kitty in Yorgos Lanthimos' Poor Things, opposite Emma Stone and Mark Ruffalo (Golden Lion, Venice Film Festival 2023), Frannie in Inside Man (BBC/Netflix), and Ludmilla in The Great (Hulu).
As a voice artist, Kate has narrated over 100 audiobooks, and has been awarded an Earphones Award by Audiofile Magazine. She often works with Penguin, Macmillan and Bloomsbury, has featured in video games like Horizon: Forbidden West and Terminator: Resistance, and has voiced projects for international brands like Maison Margiela, Google and DeWalt.
Kate serves as an audition panelist for MA Acting at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, has been a guest critic of performance and presentation at London Metropolitan University + University of Nottingham, and run workshops in presentation and storytelling at Takero Shimazaki Architects, Bartlett School of Architecture (UCL), and Architecture Association.
